Jesus' life was fully centered on the will of the Father—His mission was not optional but a divine necessity. From the temple as a young boy declaring, “I must be about my Father’s business” (Luke 2:49), to His declaration that His sustenance was to "do the will of Him that sent me" (John 4:34), Jesus showed that true fulfillment is found in obedience. At Bethesda, He healed a man who had waited 38 years, showing that God's will is both our restoration and our rest (John 5:1-9). When we align our lives with His purpose, His will becomes our feast, our sustenance, and our source of life. Just as Jesus refused to be distracted, we too must embrace the urgency and necessity of walking in the Father's will, finding in it our joy, our nourishment, and our ultimate peace.
